Service Dispatcher
Power Products Systems, a W.W. Williams Company, is the distributor for Detroit Diesel engines, Allison Transmissions, Carrier Transport Refrigeration, Volvo Penta and Kohler Power Generation Product. Power Products is part of a large successful family of 1200 employees with 47 locations throughout the United Sates and one branch in Mexico. We have all the resources of a large company with a small family-run organization feel. We are a true family first organization with employee and customer centric focus. We have an immediate opening for a service dispatcher to handle customer service needs in our generator department.
Job Duties:
Maintain the service technicians daily schedules.
Dispatch the technicians as service calls are completed.
Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in.
Maintain customer database with current information.
Clear and concise communications with department managers, employees and customers.
Keep customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead times.
Work Experience & Qualifications:
Dispatch experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
