    In this dynamic role, you will:

    Lead with impact: Oversee all aspects of Family Services, including DDS-funded Family Support Services, DCF Family Support & Stabilization, Adult Family Care (AFC), and recreation services, ensuring families receive the highest quality of support.

    Ensure financial sustainability and secure funding: Monitor program budgets and contract utilization in collaboration with the business office to optimize resources. Identify and pursue funding opportunities by completing grants and Requests for Responses

    Be a leader in crisis management: Provide clinical leadership in emergency situations, ensuring rapid and effective responses.

    Strengthen partnerships and champion collaboration: Represent Communitas in key DDS Family Support and referral meetings, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. Build and maintain strong connections with DDS area and regional office management to enhance services and advocacy.

    Qualifications of the right candidate include:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field.

  • A minimum of four years’ experience working in a family support program with strong clinical skills.

  • Experience working with people with disabilities and their families. Strong understanding and respect for family dynamics.

  • A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation is required.

  • Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check including references, CORI, and fingerprinting.
