Job SummaryResponsible for working with our Club or Distribution Center leaders to gain a deep understanding of our day-to-day operations. Establishes efficiencies, maintains policies and procedures within Club or Distribution Center. In this role you will report to a Director, Regional Operations and be assigned a Club Manager as a mentor. This role is a key pipeline opportunity on the path to a retail leadership role with us.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
Collaborates with other leaders to develop talent by coaching, teaching, and developing Team Members, assess Team Member performance and provide actionable feedback.
Evaluates departmental performance using company reporting programs and provides recommendations to maximize sales, profits, and performance.
Evaluates and ensures operational processes are consistently followed in the highly controlled areas of receiving, asset control, human resources, and cash office.
Establishes operational efficiencies and productivity standards within the department and reviews budgets, plans and P&L to identify profit opportunities.
Qualifications
Able to work 100% in person at designated location.
Focused on post-grad career in retail management or supply chain/logistics.
Can-do attitude with a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and learn.
Able to work cross functionally with different leaders/team members across various departments to drive towards results.
Agile and eager to work with diverse stakeholders and tasks.
Strong business acumen with desire to work in an active, boots-on-the-ground environment where no day is the same.
People-focused, with positive leadership skills.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Email) required.
Job Conditions
Most of the time is spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces. There may be a need to occasionally position oneself to examine or scan merchandise, including bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and/or stooping.
Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects in excess of 30 pounds with assistance.
Located in a comfortable indoor area with frequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises. There may be occasional exposure to cleaning agents.
