The Talent Intelligence Manager is a key position that collects, analyses and presents external talent data and trends to influence and inform our talent strategy. The purpose of this role is to create and develop a climate that recognizes the strategic importance of market and talent intelligence.

Working within a matrix organization through the use of influence and persuasion, this role leads the development of intelligence to help influence the organization’s buy Vs build strategy, merger and acquisition strategy, talent attraction strategy and location strategy.

You are responsible for

The Talent Intelligence Manager acts as a trusted advisor to the business and HR on talent insights to help the business make intelligent workforce decisions;

  • Influence the company buy v build strategy

  • Create and implement long term talent engagement strategy: identifying target organizations, focused diverse talent pool and critical skill segments

  • Talent Assessment and recommendations of potential M&A targets, location studies, competitor analysis, skill assessment and custom reports

  • Project engagement and delivery: Act as a trusted advisor to senior Business Leaders and senior HR Leaders on talent insights to help the business make intelligent workforce decisions.

  • Develop and continuously adopt an innovative mindset to position the Talent Intelligence team to be a strategic trusted partner within the business ecosystem.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A proven track record of research/market intelligence

  • Strong stakeholder management experience

  • Proficiency in MS-Office - MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word

  • Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills, and sound business / commercial acumen

  • Proficient in mining data and generating insights from various databases and third party sources

  • Produce professional, neat, and stakeholder-ready Power Point presentations and excel worksheets

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter; ability to work independently

  • Strong sense of ownership; ability to take responsibility for the full lifecycle of the project from proposal to delivery

Desired experience

  • Knowledge of global talent/labor market trends, labor pools and costs

  • Experience of working in either talent research/analytics, HR analytics, or HR consulting/advisory

  • Primary research experience
