TURNERS FALLS Production Receiver Description Job Characteristics Organize, palletize and distribute all incoming and outgoing product for various material treatments, such as black oxide treatment Transport materials to and from in-house heat treatment facility twice per day Generate bills of lading for each product shipment and distribute to relevant parties React to rush jobs and prioritize shipments as needed Collaborate and organize with warehouse receivers to optimize work flows and minimize shipping delays Able to maintain a clean and safe loading dock to get shipments in and out on a timely basis Maintain good working relationships and contacts with shipping companies Complete daily forklift safety checklist before operation Perform various production duties between shipments Participate in training new employees when needed Required Skills Able to follow a tight schedule and complete work in a timely manner Must be able to complete in house forklift training and drive forklift Valid driver\'s license required with good driving history Close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Written and verbal English communication skills Work well with a team and coordinate shipments and supplies between many different departments Strict attention and adherence to safety guidelines including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE) Adherence to attendance policy Required Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Education/Experience Experience working in a manufacturing/industrial facility Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
