Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are currently looking to bring on additional machine operators into our facility. This position will have extensive training and check-ins with your production manager to go over manufacturing checklists, ensuring your success. You will have exposure to the engineering team and work in a well-lit environment with newer machinery across seven different departments, each handling separate production processes. Daily duties include working off of work orders, learning customer-specific processes, ensuring KPIs are met, using micrometers and calipers to ensure product quality, performing minor preventative maintenance on machinery, tracking raw material usage via computer, and inspecting pieces for defects.

Shifts: 1/2/3 available

-1 st shift – 7am – 3pm

-2nd shift – 3pm – 11 pm

-3rd shift - 11pm - 7 am

Hard Skills

• Ability to frequently move and lift up to 50 lbs

• Knowledge of mathematics including decimals, fractions, and measuring

• Experience operating multiple machines simultaneously

• Experience in manufacturing or mechanically inclined positions

• Proficiency in using a computer

Soft Skills

• Comfortability with frequent mobility

• Ability to work in potentially loud areas

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Turners Falls, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

Very well-lit environment with newer machinery, diverse culture, and multiple departments focusing on different production processes. Some areas of the facility can be louder.
