Entry Level Production A local manufacturing company is searching for entry level Machine Operators to join their growing team! 1st Shift: 6am-6pm, \$18+/hr 2nd Shift: 6pm-6am, \$20+/hr (Shift times can be flexible for the right candidate) Job Characteristics Proper and safe set up of bandsaw machine, including checking fluid levels and evaluating blade status Read prints and shop packs for tool and alloy specifications and to set correct cutting speed and length Load and stack steel according to size and steel type to maximize job load Maximize saw blade life whenever possible Change worn blades as necessary and honing the blade after installation Able to use manual and electric lifts to transport raw and finished materials Use calipers and measuring tapes to ensure precision Obtain first piece sign off from supervisor at the start of every new job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred but not required Reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 40lbs Job Location: Turners Falls, MA
