What You Will Do:

This is a great opportunity to join the LTAMDS / GhostEye finance team. This role is to be a Business analyst for the LTAMDS UMR Program. LTAMDS UMR is a highly strategic program with significant domestic and international market potential, providing excellent growth opportunities within the portfolio / has high visibility. The individual will support the LTAMDS UMR Business Manager through program execution including monthly EVMS, quarterly EACs, etc. This program is an IRAD OTA, and as such does not have external EVMS requirements. LTAMDS UMR is a concurrent development and production Watch program, so prior experience with EVMS is desired. In addition, this position will interface with all levels of management as well as work in a matrix environment (Director, PMs, SCM, Ops, Engineering, Finance, etc). Candidate should look at ways to improve current processes/cadences or set new ones, be a strategic partner to the program leadership team, influence at all levels of the organization, and manage staffing. The primary focus for this role will be quarterly EACs and trend analysis to EAC positions, to help generate our monthly forecast, and facilitate basic earned value processes. Opportunity for exposure to our yearly CSDR submittal as well.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field

  • Typically requires 5 years of Finance related experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3 years' Finance related experience

  • Experience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

  • Experience in Estimates at Completion (EACs)

  • Experience with SAP and/or a similar system

    Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Financial experience in the aerospace/defense industry

  • Experience in supporting Initial Baseline Reviews (IBRs)

  • Experience in supporting Joint Surveillance Audits (JSAs)

  • Experience in developing monthly financial Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs)

  • Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

  • In depth understanding of color of money policy, accounting principles

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with good presentation skills

  • Proficient use of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Experience with PMX and C cert

  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork

  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking

  • Sound analytical, problem identification, and problem-solving skills

  • Broad understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)

  • Experience in development / strategic program new business capture

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. The preferred candidate will be expected to work onsite 1-2 days per week in Tewksbury, MA. Relocation assistance is not being offered.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
