Shifts: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm OR 2:00pm-10:00pm

Pay: :$20/hr

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Following all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality

• Reading production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed

• Conveying materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas

• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence

• Filling requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, or other stock items and distributing items to production areas

• Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets

• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed

• Using computer to enter records

• Driving material handling equipment to transport stored items

• Loading and unloading trailers of palletized and non-palletized product

• Utilizing manual and automated material handling equipment

• Practicing and adhering to appropriate safety and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Are able to communicate effectively to team members and management staff

• Are able to read information through warehouse computer software

• 1-3 years’ experience in a warehouse/Material Handling environment.
