Job Title: Material Handler I - 1st Shift

Job Description

We want disciplined, dependable, and hard-working colleagues who will make an impact for our customers and fellow team members every day. The impact you will have could range from delivering products that help a scientist discover a cure for cancer to helping a nurse care for a patient effectively by ensuring they have the right equipment.

What will you do?

• Pull materials from the stockroom for work orders for the manufacturing floor and issue these materials to the work orders in our ERP system.
• Ensure the accurate selection and labeling of products for our sales orders from the stockroom, delivering them to the shipping department, and reporting any delays to the planning department.
• Complete internal logistics milk runs to support line-side inventory for manufacturing, including retrieving and filling bins and delivering them to the production floor as needed.
• Move materials to production carts and replenish material as needed.
• Scan Kan Ban cards to trigger replenishment orders for our purchasing department as parts are being picked.
• Assist with daily cycle counts, which are submitted to the Finance Team on a daily basis.

Hard Skills

• Experience in transacting in MRP systems

• Experience with Smartsheet and Salesforce is a plus

• Experience with computers and scanning equipment

Soft Skills

• Strong written and interpersonal skills

• Developed analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Desire to work as part of a team but also able to work independently

• Ability to read and write in English

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 26 Weekly.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
