In this role, you will manage a team of Merchandisers, working alongside sales leadership to set clear goals and priorities. You\'ll ensure your team is aligned with divisional objectives and is responsive to customer needs out in the trade. The merchandising manager oversees all aspects of staffing, professional development, and coaching while focusing on meeting key performance goals and upholding company policies. Key Accountabilities Set and meet monthly goals for brand standards in key areas like cold box, warm shelf placement, POS visibility, displays, and activation brands. Communicate and delegate corporate merchandising priorities across all divisions, ensuring everyone is on the same page. Execute supplier market surveys by organizing teams and planning routes to confirm merchandising objectives are met at every account. Oversee delivery and merchandiser schedules to ensure execution of divisional goals. Drive success with focus brands by consistently meeting or exceeding targets. Take charge of weekend coverage when needed, to support key accounts. Hold monthly one-on-ones, work withs, and structured training sessions with your team to offer guidance, coaching, and support. Present a training and development series to build a strong sales capabilities culture within the team. Conduct annual reviews and work on succession planning to help identify and foster career advancement opportunities for your team. Administration / Meetings: Oversee and manage time sheets for accuracy and timely submission. Prepare and recap monthly team meetings so everyone is aligned on key activities and priorities. Provide monthly merchandising updates to the Playbook via Airwatch. Present merchandiser priorities at monthly sales manager meetings to keep everyone focused on divisional goals. Share relevant merchandising updates at quarterly general sales meetings. Attend quarterly trade development meetings to report on market updates and merchandising insights. Manage the T&E expense budget and keep spending aligned with company guidelines. Organize orientations and onboarding activities to ensure new hires have a smooth and welcoming start. POS Management: Monitor the team\'s weekly use of Perma-Trak to ensure proper tracking. Hold monthly discussions with suppliers to address ad-hoc POS and market needs. Work with the warehouse manager monthly to manage POS quantities and organization. Provide the sales team with a monthly summary of supplier POS procurement. Oversee quarterly POS purges to remove outdated materials from the warehouse. Manage quarterly inventories of Corporate POS through Perma-Trak. Off-Premise Sampling Programs Support sales teams with in-store tastings, POS installations, window signs, and displays as needed. Graphic Art Department: Utilize the graphic arts department for feature pricing, branding in key accounts, survey execution, and bulk division priorities. Support the sales force with special graphic arts requests and projects. Manage graphic arts expenditures and ensure proper billbacks are processed where necessary.
