Job Title: Program Manager - Aerospace

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to lead and manage detailed program plans in the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant milestone achievement. This role requires strong coordination with engineering teams and acting as the customer point of contact to ensure technical requirements are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Manage detailed program plans, including schedules, budgets, and resources.

  • Monitor progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant milestone achievement.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to meet technical requirements and act as the customer point of contact.

  • Manage scope, define deliverables, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain personnel.

  • Identify and manage program risks, developing mitigation strategies.

  • Implement corrective actions to keep the program on track.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain detailed records of program activities and financial tracking.

  • Prepare updates for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Essential Skills

  • Program management

  • Technical expertise in aerospace

  • Costing and scheduling

  • Engineering/technical program management background

  • Experience with composite or aerospace/defense industry engineering

  • Knowledge of AS9100 and MIL-STD standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field

  • 1-5 years of program management, project management, or engineering management experience, preferably within the aerospace industry

  • Experience managing programs for both defense and commercial aerospace sectors preferred

  • Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes is a plus

  • Experience with risk management and the ability to develop mitigation strategies

  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, or an equivalent

Work Environment

Onsite 5 days a week at the Hudson facility with occasional visits to the Stow facility, located 7 minutes away. The role involves working in a dynamic environment with a small team of three, providing a lot of interaction. The manager is focused on developing team members, and the environment is military and veteran-friendly. Employees can see the product from start to finish and witness its application in everyday life.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00
