Position Description/Minimum Qualifications * Shop Hand Seeking a reliable, responsible person that can grow in an expanding manufacturing company Hiring 1 position immediately Training will be provided for all necessary functions - limited experience is required; recent high school graduates will be considered although 2 years of work experience is desired. Responsibilities: -organization (cleaning and keeping the shop orderly) -small handyperson tasks (changing bulbs, building pre-fab shelving, etc.) -support (helping machinists and welders prepare parts for processing) -shipping and receiving (entering data reflecting receipt of components) Position is located in a manufacturing environment with multiple machines, tools and pieces of equipment including a clean room for inspection, parts cleaning and testing, and product preparation Must communicate well, perform basic math, have high integrity and demonstrate a strong work ethic
