Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health Kripalu Programs Specialist in Stockbridge, Massachusetts

The Kripalu Programs Specialist is an essential operational leader, responsible for supporting the management of all aspects of the day-to-day business of Kripalu\'s R&R Retreats and Kripalu Experience Programs (KEP) - two signature Kripalu content areas. The position assists in the scheduling, operations, payroll and other needs of a large (70 person plus) and diverse faculty body of teachers and works in close collaboration with department Manager to ensure superior guest experience. The role offers critical support to the operations and delivery of programs in a manner aligned with Kripalu values. Sitting at the nexus of interdepartmental collaboration, the position is responsible for the documentation and implementation of systems, policies, and protocols in a way that increases efficiency. This position reports to the Manager of Kripalu Programs and helps determine weekly and daily priorities of the R&R Coordinators. ACCOUNTABILITIES Assists management with the creation, formatting, proofing, and maintenance of department\'s program schedules as well as whole-house activities Assists management in the operation and delivery of department schedules and activities Assists in the management of department faculty Primary Liaison with operations department leaders to ensure efficient completion of tasks and goals as they relate to program production and delivery Liaison daily with Guest Services to ensure accurate and timely guest information Liaison daily with Production Support for efficient and consistent program operations Responsible for creation, accuracy, and submission of bi-weekly payroll Responsible for ensuring accuracy of faculty schedules in PayCom Maintains Faculty capability and certification database in PayCom Creates and maintains Standard Operating Procedure documentation for the department, assists the manager in communicating processes to faculty and ensuring compliance Supervises availability and workshops databases to ensure precise and timely information for the purposes of schedule construction and development Event coordinates yearly outdoor faculty team trainings with Director of Outdoor Education Attends weekly, bi-weekly departmental and interdepartmental meetings Provides backup and support of team member\'s duties CORE COMPETENCIES Demonstrated commitment to valuing equity, diversity and contributing to an inclusive environment Possesses strong core ethics, integrity, and values consistent with Kripalu\'s organizational principles Systems thinker, able to operationalize nuanced processes across various organizational platforms Builds effective relationships, identifies internal and external customer expectations, sees issues from their point of view; offers practical, mutually beneficial recommendations, solutions, and ideas Willingness and ability to be agile in work, supporting across own department as well as across the organization as needed Ability to tolerate ambiguity, to pivot quickly, and exercise discernment with fast-paced decision making that impacts guest experience Demonstrates the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform required job elements to established standards, remaining current regarding development and trends in areas of expertise Embraces experiences as learning opportunities Accepts responsibility for personal and professional learning and growth. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Associate\'s degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years\' experience in a administrative position. Excellent customer service skills. Experience with Microsoft Office products Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organization and prioritizing skills a must Must be available for weekends and occasional evening events and major holidays
