Job Description:

Responsibilities

  1. Serve as the account lead for biotech/ pharma companies needing collection services in support of cellular therapy. Address client concerns, complaints and billing issues.

  2. Engage across various functional internal teams to support Emerging Offerings clients. Collaborate internally across Operations and Product Management teams to support client product/service needs. Communicate additional client needs to appropriate internal groups (e.g., Product) for consideration. Serve as advocate for needs and requests of assigned clients across the Red Cross organization.

  3. Manage client onboarding processes, including supporting facilitation of Services Agreement development and negotiation between existing assigned clients and Red Cross General Counsel and Risk Management groups, working across internal functions to support clients in the relevant Institutional Review Board (IRB) processes, obtaining necessary approvals, and conveying client requests for audits on to appropriate contacts in Quality for follow-up.

  4. Conduct or participate in client and client need-related internal meetings.

    Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biology/chemistry discipline preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required. Experience in life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries and in client-facing roles preferred.

Management Experience: N/A

Skills & Abilities: Experience with client and account management, operational collaboration, and strong problem-solving skills required, with life science technical communication skills preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with the full Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel required. Ability to work on a team.

Travel: 10-25%

*Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Overall mobility is essential. May also include driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions.
