Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Intensive Home-Based Therapeutic Care program with the following: Engaging youth in activities that are designed to address one or more goals on the youth\'s treatment plan. Transporting and engaging youth in community activities Teaching youth how to navigate community systems and self-advocate. Fostering empowerment and linking youth to support and self-help groups. Supporting families and individuals from a variety of different cultural backgrounds Completing paperwork related to service is high quality and timely. Working effectively as a team member. Using supervision and training to enhance job performance and knowledge. Demonstrating problem solving ability under changing conditions Engaging youth in a strength-based relationship. Who are we? What are we looking for in a Young Adult Peer Mentor? Qualifications/ Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth (preferred). Must have a valid Massachusetts driver\'s license and automobile available during working hours. Must have familiarity with internet, word processing and email systems.
