Stabilization Supervisor Job Category: First/Mid Level Mgmt Requisition Number: STABI005781 Full-Time On-site Diversion, Shelter and Housing Programs Springfield, MA 01108, USA Job Details Description The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking a Stabilization Supervisor to join our Diversion, Shelter and Housing Services team. The Stabilization Supervisor supports the stabilization team who serves families that have recently exited the shelter and now are in permanent housing. Your role as a Stabilization Supervisor: As the Stabilization Supervisor, you will work along with the team to assist families to maintain tenancies in safe, affordable permanent housing that meets the family?s unique needs. (e.g., size, lead compliance, geographic restrictions, accessibility accommodations). You will oversee and review the Stabilization plans that identify goals and tasks that will facilitate housing access as rapidly as possible. You will supervisor and support the team of stabilization caseworkers, to ensure their efforts to support and guide homeless families in seeking benefits and low-income assistance programs to remain compliant with rent obligations. Requirements: 2 years supervisory experience 2 years of experience working with homeless families, including families with mental health and substance abuse challenges. Knowledge of HomeBASE and EA shelter systems Bachelor?s degree from an accredited educational institution required Bilingual (Spanish/English) applicants strongly preferred Reliable, registered and insured vehicle and approved driving record check Approved criminal background check (CORI) Success Factors: The Stabilization Supervisor should actively support the philosophy of the agency and maintain a high level of commitment to program families and staff. Ability to lead the team with their supervisory experience. You will need a diverse skill set to include, strong problem solving skills, strong communication, experience working with homeless families, including families with mental health and substance abuse challenges. Pay rate is \$25.00/hr. along with a benefit package that include Dental, Health and Life Insurance. Paid time off, earned vacation time and paid holidays just to name a few. This is an onsite, 40hrs/week full time opportunity.
