The SVP HSS supports our mission by being a key contributor in the development and achievement of the organization\'s mission, strategic, and business objectives. The SVP HSS is principally responsible for the overall design, implementation, and successful administration of client-focused residential and support programs. The candidate may work in a hybrid-remote capacity but must live within commutable distance. In-office work and onsite meetings are regularly expected. SEE THE WAYFINDERS WEBSITE FOR COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities include: Develop and implement strategic plans for the Housing Support Services department that effectively serves clients, funding sources, internal customers, and communities; proactively contribute to efforts that affect local, state, and federal policy to enhance success of programs Direct, implement and manage the department\'s organizational design, structure, goals and action plans, proposal/grant writing, and policy and procedure development Direct and monitor the production of timely and accurate reporting of program services and productivity to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, funding source(s), and organizational requirements for effective decision-making Collaborate on budget planning, and monitor fiscal performance of all department programs Design and implement internal systems for quality assurance and effectiveness that identify, quantify, and measure customer satisfaction, program goals and objectives; oversee the managers in the development of program modifications that address identified areas of improvement Initiate and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential funding sources, local, state and federal officials, and agencies to ensure sufficient collaboration and support for programs and services Proactively identify and inform leadership of any issues that may adversely affect programs, funding, clients, or the organization Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with staff (including across departments), funding sources, constituents, and stakeholders Requirements include: 7 years\' progressively responsible senior level management experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting; a combination of experience plus a Bachelor\'s degree may be a substitute Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to relate to diverse communities in an inclusive manner, including through active listening Ability to lead and mentor supervisors to develop and stay current on effective management skills that ensure staff accountability Proficient in Microsoft Suite (including Excel), databases, and organizational/analysis-related applications, and comfort learning new technologies Experience developing trainings and systems that serve to build efficient programs and increase staff\'s knowledge and commitment Ability to manage complex budgets with multiple funding streams Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written skills preferred, but not required Valid driver\'s license with acceptable driving record; reliable vehicle
