Reception and Placement Case Manager - Spanish Jewish Family Service of Western Massachusetts is seeking a Case Manager to join our multicultural New American Program team. Position provides services related to the successful integration of refugees approved by the US State Department and other eligible arrivals. This position will report to the Initial Resettlement Program Coordinator and support the resettlement, health, employment and ESL programs for New Americans. Position Details: Position: Reception and Placement Case Manager - Spanish Department: New American Program Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Reports to: Resettlement Coordinator Location: Springfield Salary Range: \$20-22 hourly Responsibilities: Perform functions of initial intake and resettlement through the Massachusetts Refugee Resettlement Program and the Reception and Placement (R&P) Program. Conduct R&P core services in a timely, professional manner in compliance with US State Department regulations. Conduct enrollment and referral to key core services in Springfield, such as providing orientation, enrollment in health insurance, SNAP, TAFDC and child care services. Assisting client to enroll in all eligible services and teach skills for self-sufficiency. Manage new client appointments, including those for DTA and Caring Health Center. Complete case noting and data entry in CaseWorthy. Ensure compliance with state and federal contracts regarding case file documentation, financial reporting, and tracking of services and gifts Assist clients to access medical and mental health care, including providing orientations to healthcare in the US and assisting clients to access pharmacies and specialists. Assist with referrals to agency programs, such as specialized youth and case management support. Provide case management, advocacy, and interventions on behalf of JFS clients. Able to interpret and translate for clients as needed and appropriate to enroll in services and provide information. Perform all responsibilities and duties within the framework of agency mission, policy and professional ethics. Other duties as may be assigned by the Program Director or designee. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. Experience working with non-native-English speakers from a variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently, to plan and organize work, and follow tasks through to completion. Ability to communicate and engage with a diverse caseload and a multicultural team. At least 3 years\' experience working within refugee or immigrant communities. Valid Massachusetts driver\'s license. Driving history check will be performed for selected candidate. Ability to drive clients using personal and agency vehicle
