Description:
Position Purpose
Responsible for maintaining and balancing cash drawer, accepting payments, ordering and supplying coins and petty cash funds, and making change. Must prepare and balance bank deposit and prepare, copy and distribute cash sheet daily. Posting patient payments.
What you will do
Accept payments from patients for payment of hospital bills; balance cash drawer
Open, Sort and distribute daily mail
Copy checks for bank deposit.
Balance bank deposit.
Prepare cash sheet for Finance
Post co-pay and deductibles to PA daily
Process Credit card payments and post to PA
Distribute petty cash to authorized individuals upon request
Minimum Qualifications
High School Graduate or Equivalent
1 year cashiering experience or 1-2 years detailed clerical experience
Good figure aptitude, public contact skill
Bilingual a plus.
