Baystate Health Marketing Technology Specialist in Springfield, Massachusetts

Job Summary:

The Marketing Technology Specialist is a member of the Marketing and Communications team and is responsible for optimizing marketing technology platforms to ensure seamless day-to-day administration. In partnership with digital marketing leadership, I&T and other business units, this positions partners and collaborates to assure that the system’s digital tools and channels support consumer-driven strategies and organizational goals. The Marketing Technology Specialist works in the various platforms utilized by the Marketing and Communications department including Press Ganey, Freshpaint and Kyruus, and improves these tools based on regular monitoring and suggested improvements. This position manages vendor relationships with all technology and applications programs used by the department.

Job Requirements:

  • Collaborate with digital marketing and business leaders to prioritize marketing technologies and strategies and make them executable as they relate to key marketing strategies.

  • Partner with IT and other patient-facing departments to ensure our technology and tools are leveraged in a manner that provides a competitive marketing advantage

  • Develop and deliver analytics reports and competitive analyses that inform strategic and tactical decision-making related to our technology and system applications.

  • Supporting writing technical specifications, governance documents, and other supporting materials for large and complex consumer-driven digital projects.

  • Participate in integration testing quality assurance and usability testing.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital/IT, Business or a related field

Required Expereince:

3-5 years of experience in digital, online, or marketing environments

Preferred Work Experience:

2 years of digital experience

Skills/Competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills to support data analysis and recommendations.

  • Solid organizational skills and experience in managing projects effectively and on time.

  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships.

  • Advanced knowledge of marketing software and tools including content management systems (Sitecore, WordPress, etc.), digital asset libraries, reputation management, and analytics reporting of these tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to extract meaningful analysis from data and create reports and dashboards.
