Machine Operator Lead - 3rd Shift Springfield, Massachusetts Do you like to coach, oversees and coordinates aspects of the production area workflow? Do you have lead experience? If so, Masis Staffing is currently hiring for a 3rd shift Lead Machine operator. The successful Lead Machine Operator candidate will need to use automated and manual equipment including basic hand tools, temperature gauges, wax tanks, pumps, hoses and packaging equipment. Responsibilities of a Machine Operator Lead: Machine Operator Lead Coordinate and oversee the activities of machine operators to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. Train new machine operators on equipment operation and safety procedures. Monitor production output and quality to identify and address any issues or discrepancies. Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance needs. Enforce safety and quality standards to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Requirements of a Machine Operator Lead: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read and write in the English language. Ability to stand for 8 plus hours and able to lift up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis. Good working knowledge of basic arithmetic and the ability to calculate percentages. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
