THE JOB: It is the responsibility of the Kitchen Technician; you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs of kitchen refrigeration racks and systems. You will also play a vital role in our mission to own the guest?s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us. STARTING PAY: \$35.45 per hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Performs maintenance and repairs of large & small kitchen equipment. Repairs of plumbing and associated equipment i.e. gas line hook up, filter maintenance, equipment parts replacement, etc. Maintains the kitchen shop and par levels for all parts associated with the specific equipment that is located throughout the property Maintains the Pollution Control Units and hood systems Escorts the hood/PCU cleaning company on a monthly basis and keep track of records Ensures that new equipment is hooked up according to the specifications and/or architectural plans Performs routine maintenance to all kitchen equipment as a part of a zone maintenance program Work with HotSOS or equivalent work order system to track and memorialize all repairs, etc. Provides updates to management on the condition of equipment Performs maintenance of all refrigeration rack units throughout the facility Performs maintenance and repairs of refrigeration units, dish washers and ice machines. Maintains operation, maintenance, and repair of all beverage conduit, F&B specific lighting, CO2 monitors, walk-in coolers, etc. Performs maintenance and repairs of pumps and pressurized water systems. Replaces gaskets and seals on a regular basis Performs additional job duties as determined by management. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Ability to work as a part of a team in a high-stress and high-volume environment Ability to work in and adapt to a dynamic and frequently changing environment Ability to adhere to and execute established department policies and procedures Ability to work under pressure while being able to pay attention to details Excellent customer service skills Ability to maintain professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to department and company standards Possess intrapersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written forms MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent.
