FIT Staffing Junior Application Analyst in Springfield, Massachusetts

SPRINGFIELD DIRECT HIRE Junior Application Analyst Our client, a large non-profit mental health and human services organization in Western Massachusetts, is seeking a Junior Application Analyst who will be responsible for the maintenance, and ongoing support of HR and EHR system(s) of the company. This position plays a critical role in the support, testing, and implementation of all elements of the comprehensive EHR and HR system(s). To be clear, this is a full-time permanent position. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Learn how to monitor and groom work queue, respond to requests in timely fashion, use appropriate tools and methodologies to prioritize work. - Learn how to work with internal and external stakeholders to conduct analysis, develop problem definition, understand and communicate requirements including current and desired state of business processes, workflows, and data flows. Evaluate, propose, and assist with designing potential solutions. - Learn how to monitor system(s) events, performance and usage. Identify, suggest, and implement opportunities for improvement. - Work toward an ability to use appropriate technology to develop EHR forms, screens, and reporting. - Work toward an ability to use appropriate technologies and methodologies to test solutions and applications, identify shortcomings and/or bugs, and evaluate the degree to which solutions meet business needs. - Follows departmental guidelines for documentation of business analysis, business processes, requirements, workflows, data flows, and change management. - Documents meetings including summaries of conversation, key outcomes, and action items. - Learn and apply new information relating to EHR systems as it becomes available. - Learn to train and support users in the usage of EHR applications. - Learn to work with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot, communicate, and resolve problems or bugs with company EHR systems. - Learn to configure EHR applications and manage user accounts. - Form and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, share thoughts and ideas, give and receive feedback (positive and critical) with positive intention, attend ADS and company meetings. - Perform any other tasks as directed and/or as necessary. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: - Knowledge of EHR, Human Resources and or other system applications. - Knowledge of clinical and other business processes that make use of EHR system(s). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two to three years\' experience supporting an EHR and/or Human Resources systems. EHR experience preferred but not required.
