More importantly, are you a savvy and energetic data professional who wants to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data assets in Behavioral Healthcare? If so, BHN is looking for you! Our Director of Data Management develops and implements a robust data governance framework tailored to behavioral healthcare standards! You will determine how our data at BHN is most effectively utilized to drive improvement across our portfolio of services. Works with the Vice President of Information Systems to plan the resources and skills needed to achieve BHN initiatives and ongoing programs. Plays a key role in strategizing a plan for data design, validation and maintenance and keeping up to date with trends in the industry to align with industry best practices. Works with data warehouse teams to: Direct and manage project completion from beginning to end in ongoing consultation with business and clinical teams. Direct/Collaborate with the team on behavioral healthcare data modeling, and efforts to promote greater integration of data systems across BHN?s varied information platforms. Oversees the planning and execution and monitoring of major enhancements to existing data processes. Maintains strict adherence to HIPAA standards and data retention requirements. Takes care of the Team: Encourages staff development and continual improvement via learning paths that maintain and enhance data warehousing systems skills buttressed from timely training & feedback and regular evaluations. Collaborates and works closely with other IS/IT directors to ensure consistency of approach and methodology to solve business challenges involving data management. Ensures adequate staff coverage to meet department needs given current and future planned projects. Qualifications: Master\'s Degree in relevant field required. Relevant experience in managing and overseeing a complex and varied data environment, including personnel, finance, and health record systems. 8 or more years of experience as a manager or Director of data warehouse teams. Must have experience in both on premise and cloud-based data system planning and management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with and present to various departments and stakeholders. Ability to negotiate and evaluate vendors of existing applications used for data analysis, data management, or new applications and provide recommendations to the Vice President of Information Systems.
