Position: Clubhouse Employment Specialist 1 ? Full Time Location: Springfield, MA Lighthouse Rate of Pay: $16.00 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week (non-exempt) Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm; rotating/occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays required Summary: Develops and services employment relationships between clients and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities. Responsibilities include vocational guidance, job development, job placement, employer education, and customer relations. Specific Responsibilities: Develops job opportunities and employer relationships to include individual and group placements that correspond to members/individuals' interests and skills. Oversees employment sites for members/individuals? services, maintaining regular contact with community employers ensuring the development of positive relationships Provides job training, coaching, and support to program members at their worksite and occasionally covers the job site in the absence of the individual Works side by side with members, assisting them in building skills including job readiness, social skills and health and wellness, while assuming bottom line responsibility according to agency policies, procedures, and standards. Qualifications: High School/HiSET plus 3 years related experience OR associate degree plus 1-year related experience and/or training. One year supervisory or human service experience desired. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations. Must have a valid driver?s license and 3-year driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal and/or agency vehicle.
