Description:

Brightside for Families and Children a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Clinician to come join our team of highly specialized behavioral health professionals. Brightside helps to build families and support individuals through family outreach and stabilization, psychiatric and medication evaluation and management, special education, and by being there to offer support and encouragement. The mission is to be a healing and transforming presence in the lives of the youth and families we service.

The Clinician is a mobile position that provides behavioral health consultations, assessments, individual treatment and family consultations to the clients served. Provides families with in-home therapy, family stabilization, therapeutic mentoring and community support. And collaborates with team to ensure quality of services provided.

What will you do:

  • Completes consults, assessments, and develops treatment plan with strength-based, solution-focused treatment goals, from admission to discharge, with the patient/family and service providers. Provides stabilization and supportive services to clients in their home/community.

  • Engages clients in designing treatment goals utilizing a strength based prospective which include socialization skills, parenting skills, ADL skills behavior training, awareness of child development, problem solving and family conflict resolution. Provides written documentation of various teaching strategies to the family to support what is being taught. Ensures individual/family served understanding through the use of role modeling and measurable behavioral management systems.

  • Understanding in the computer-based applications (email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office). Ability to document in the electronic medical record.

  • Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork. Support Brightside team as needed to fulfil clients needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in the social work field. and at least two (2) years of clinical experience. in Social Work or clinically focused Human Service field.

  • Licensure: Licensed or license-eligible preferred.

  • Experience: Requires at least two (2) years of clinical experience.

  • Requires analytical ability to assist in designing comprehensive treatment plans, and knowledge of professional literature and resources.
