Cashier (This position is at the Boston Road Stop and Shop) ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS ? Customer Service ? Scan items (repetitive hand/arm/shoulder motion). ? Bag items (lift grocery bags - up to 15 lbs./frequently; up to 20 lbs./occasionally). ? Face and neaten shelf stock in aisles. ? Put away overstock and customer returns. ? Stock Front End merchandisers. ? Retrieve carriages, as necessary. ? Maintain general sanitation/housekeeping - cleaning, dusting, and washing. ? Other job functions as assigned or necessary PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Lifting - up to and over 25 lbs. 0-10 lbs - 35% of lifting day 10-20 lbs. - 60% of lifting day over 25 lbs. - 5% of lifting day
