Job Description

Aerospace components manufacturer looking to add a shipping & receiving associate to their team.

Job Duties:

• Receiving incoming shipments and preparing outgoing shipments

• Maintaining inventory records and organizing inventory for easy retrieval

• Preparing documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders

• Packaging and weighing items

• Printing shipping labels and postage

• Inspecting goods received for damage

• Distributing products to other departments

• Answering phones and providing information using customer service skills

• Preparing damage claims for supervisor's review and signature

• Coordinating disposal of surplus property

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Need someone that understand the importance of quality and precision, they are a precision shop and quality and accuracy is imperative. Someone with Shipping & Receiving experience is required.

Culture - need to be conscious of quality. Accountability and self-accountability is important when focusing on precision and quality. They enjoy teamwork, they have a very collaborative team. If there are new processes that need to be rolled out, they get everyone together for their thoughts and perspective. Very team oriented, no one is yelling or screaming. They have high standards and hold their people to those standards. They are looking for a culture fit but need the technical skills as well. Very culturally driven. Needs to be able to communicate.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00
