5 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 04/22/2024 - 11/11/2024.
Work may include, but not limited: Plant, cultivate and harvest various crops such as, vegetables, flowers, and plants in field and greenhouses. Use hand tools, such as, shovels, hoes, pruning shears, knives, and ladders. Duties may include tilling the soil, applying fertilizer, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning, applying general use pesticides under the supervision of a licensed applicator, picking, cutting, cleaning, sorting, processing. Loading and unloading trucks for farmers market. Laying out and removing plastic from fields. Cleaning fields and greenhouses throughout the season. General farm upkeep such as but not limited to , set up, operate and repair farm machinery, repair fences and farm buildings, also may participate in irrigation activities, picking rocks, cutting brush. Work is usually performed outdoors, sometimes under hot or cold and or wet conditions. Work requires workers to bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50lbs on a frequent basis. Duties may require working off the ground at heights up to 20ft. using ladders or climbing. 30 days experience in duties listed required.
Requirements:
- 1 month experience in duties listed
- Lifting requirement 50 lbs.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
- Extensive pushing or pulling, sitting or walking
- Frequent stooping or bending over
- Repetitive movements
