The Loomis Village Dining Services Supervisor is a key leader in creating a dining experience that consistently offers outstanding and personalized service that exceeds customer expectations. Responsibilities Reporting to the Dining Director and serving as a member of the Loomis Village leadership team, the Dining Services Supervisor is responsible for achieving a level of excellence for front of the house operations for our two restaurants and catering functions, serving over 165 residents as well as team members and guests. This level of excellence is achieved through the successful recruitment, onboarding and training of dining servers and through creating a dining experience where service is flawless and personal, combined with applied knowledge of changing hospitality trends and resident culture. Responsible for ensuring that all dining venues are properly staffed and dinner service executed according to Loomis Village?s standard of hospitality Oversees the training and compliance with Point of Service system for the dining servers Connects with residents to orient them to dining amenities, learns about preferences and dining expectations and responds to questions about billing. Contributes to daily pre shift meetings and co-facilitates monthly training and operational update meetings with dining team members Communicates timely to review changes, new initiatives, and updates that may impact service Works a flexible schedule as determined by the Dining Director, with an emphasis on working during the hours when meals are being served. Ensures that the restaurants meet the standard of cleanliness and orderliness consistent with service Qualifications High School diploma required Hospitality Degree preferred 1-3 years in the hospitality field with 1 year of supervisory/oversight responsibilities required Computer skills required; experience with POS system preferred Strong customer service and communication skills required Knowledge of food service sanitation standards preferred Immunization Statement for all positions Governor Charles D. Baker announced that all long-term care facilities and all Assisted Living Residences must ensure that all personnel are vaccinated against COVID-19 and the influenza virus, unless such administration is medically detrimental to the individual?s health, or vaccination is against the individual?s religious beliefs. All employees of The Loomis Communities must either receive the COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines or provide a waiver of declination. These vaccinations can only be declined for either religious beliefs or a medical contradiction to receiving the vaccine. Additionally, during the pandemic, we reserve the right to test our employees for COVID-19. Tests may be given as needed or as required by DPH, EOEA, our medical doctor or epidemiologist. Employees must be willing to submit to a COVID-19 test, in order to be scheduled to work.
