Town of Dennis Office Assistant - Finance Department in South Dennis, Massachusetts
The Town of Dennis seeks qualified applicants for the full-time (40 hrs./wk.) position of Office Assistant for the Finance Department. This position supplies support to the Accounting Department. The Office Assistant is responsible for the provision of a wide range of clerical support services assisting in the day-to-day administrative operation of the Department. Duties include, but are not limited to the assisting in reconciliation & recording of transactions & maintaining fixed assets accounts & records all pertinent information. Minimum Qualifications: High School degree or equivalent with one to three (1-3) years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training & experience which provides the required knowledge, skills & abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Additionally, applicant should have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), ability to work effectively in a busy office & work within time constraints.
