Job Description:

• Perform month end close procedures.

• account reconciliation and analysis

• recording of standard and complex journal entries

• fixed asset accounting

• Interco accounting

• judgmental accruals

• ensuring GL integrity, timely and accurate posting to appropriate accounts

• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience with ability to succeed in a deadline driven and fast paced general ledger accounting environment to include performing monthly financial closings including account reconciliations.

• Proven characteristics of consistent accuracy and attention to detail

• Self-motivated and independent

• Strong multi-tasking, interpersonal and organizational capabilities

• Pro-active attitude with regard to identifying and implementing process improvements.

• Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels within the organization.

• Ability to analyse problems, determine and take the correct course of action and/or recommend actionable suggestions for change.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Technical Experience Requirements:

• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables

• Previous experience with an ERP system (Oracle/SAP preferred)

• Understanding of GAAP.
