Description We are in search of a Collections Representative to join our team located in South Boston, Massachusetts. This role is within the financial industry and focuses on ensuring the smooth operation of loan administration and collections activities. This is an opportunity that offers a long term contract employment.

Responsibilities

• Accurately processing customer credit applications

• Keeping customer credit records precise and up-to-date

• Actively managing internal collectors and national collections vendors

• Independently handling follow-ups on collections activities

• Efficiently dealing with repossessions, auctions, and workouts when required

• Acting as a key resource for resolving lending and collections issues

• Ensuring the accurate reporting of collections activities

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action when needed. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Collections Representative role or similar

• Proficiency in Collection Processes

• Comprehensive understanding of Credit and Credit Applications

• Familiarity with Federal Credit Union operations

• Knowledge of Credit Union Policies

• Experience with Repossession procedures

• Demonstrated ability in Collections

• Proficiency in Credit - Collections

• Experience in Collections - Consumer

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
