ABOUT YOU
As Assistant Cruise Terminal Manager, you thrive in leadership roles, adeptly coordinating operational, maintenance, and security activities at Flynn Cruiseport Boston and Massport Maritime units. Your organizational prowess shines in planning and scheduling, ensuring seamless collaboration with stakeholders like vessel operations staff, contractors, and government agencies. With strong problem-solving skills, you adeptly manage emergencies and resolve tenant issues, maintaining operational continuity. Your clear communication and analytical acumen drive financial oversight and strategic decision-making, while meticulous attention to detail upholds safety standards and service excellence. Guiding teams and fostering a customer-focused environment, you ensure all activities align with regulatory requirements, optimizing facility performance and community relations.
What you will do:
Coordinate and schedule activities with various stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient passenger movement.
Set and monitor business unit goals, adjusting plans to achieve financial targets.
Implement and oversee the Maritime Safety Management System for the Cruise Terminal.
Supervise maintenance, repair, and cleaning operations, ensuring facility readiness and compliance.
WHAT YOU OFFER
Experience in marine terminal operations, facility maintenance, heavy equipment, and building systems, with over 5 years in Maritime operations
Demonstrated excellence in customer service, problem-solving, and collaboration across diverse teams.
Extensive experience in maintaining large buildings or industrial plants, with comprehensive knowledge of related systems.
In-depth understanding of cruise industry operations and services, with direct supervision experience over union employees.
