Cardi's Furniture & Mattresses is looking for an engaging, self motivated, goal-oriented or driven Online Sales Specialist to deliver an exceptional "WOW" guest experience in person, over the phone and via live chat !

Job Duties

Sales: Help our customers furnish their homes with the pieces they love, at a great value.

Live Chat: Monitor live chat and convert chat customers into paying customers.

Answer all incoming sales calls and convert into sales.

Present and add Total Care Protection Plans onto sales. Maintaining a close rate at or above 45%

Add protection onto existing orders of others by contacting customers prior to delivery. (Pre-Delivery courtesy calls)

Encourage non buying customers to visit our showrooms and try to set appointments for them to come in to shop.

In Store Sales: Set up appointments for yourself to meet with customers in the showroom.

Working as needed on Key Days/Hours to assist with coverage and also to keep up with the current goods.

B2B Sales: Grow both revenue and customer loyalty through managing customers, cultivating relationships, and closing sales.

Customer Service: Anticipate customer needs, prevent issues, and proactively problem-solve to keep customers coming back to shop with Cardi's.

Save Sales: Earn more by saving potential lost sales and potential cancellations be resolving customer concerns, changing concerns into opportunities.

Send non-buyers special promos or photos of furnishing items to fill their needs. If not electronically, send hand written note.

  • Ability to work in the showroom nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to maintain emotional composure while communicating over the phone and via Live Chat with customers, peers and management.

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.

  • Strong work ethic and dependability a must

  • General computer proficiency

Work performed in a store environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopies and fax machines. Use of personal cell phone for customer contact and follow up and personal computer tablet for room sketching. Regularly required to view, see, manipulate and handle product to demonstrate to customers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee continuously walks or stands on the store’s showroom floor. Stands for extended periods of time. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and required to lift and carry small items up to 30 pounds, such as lamps, etc
