Job Title:Technical Writer

Duration:contract ends 1/21/2022

Location:Somerville, Massachusetts

Pay: $37.50/hr

JOB SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Prepares technical documents including specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions to be used by the QC Raw Materials department. Contacting vendors, compiling documentation, and assists in the investigation of incoming material CAPAs. Ensure procedures, policies, and documentation meet Brammer Bio and cGMP regulatory standards.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Document work clearly, accurately, and in accordance with cGMP and Brammer policies/procedures.

  • Has good understanding and application of principles, concepts, and standards.

  • Recommends and guides implementation of functional strategies across group.

  • Flexible to meet changing demands to support QCRM activities.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science or related technical field; 1 to 3 years of previous related experience in QC Raw Materials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Technical Writing; Equivalent combination of education., training and relevant work experience may be considered.

  • Knowledge of QC testing principles and procedures, or USP/NF and Ph. Eur requirements.

  • Knowledge of ICH guidelines for analytical methods and validation

  • Experience in a cGMP environment.

  • Effective oral and written communication

  • Experience using Trackwise, SAP, and/or other quality management systems.

  • Ability to make decisions and work with minimal to moderate supervision.
