Aerotek Production Associate in Somerville, Massachusetts


Candidates will be working with a leading battery technology company working in the renewable energy space. They will be working to manufacture parts of larger scale assemblies and creating anodes that are used in large batteries. To do this, they will mechanically put together iron parts that are about 2 feet long and 6 inches wide. They will then take these parts and clamp them down using screws to press them. After this a department member will take the anode and press it in a press machine, then return it for another round of clamping with tooling to ensure it is set to the proper thickness. This role involves thinking on your feet and being able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise in the production process.


  • R&D Experience preferred

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly

  • hand tool and power experience

Work Environment :

  • must be willing to work 40 hours a week

  • Shifts:

  • 5am-1:30pm

  • 1:00pm-9:30am

  • 9pm-5:30am

  • will be given an apron and safety glasses, gloves
