Description We are in search of a diligent Branch/Retail Banking Clerk to join our organization in the banking industry. The role is based in Somerville, Massachusetts, and involves a range of responsibilities related to the management and processing of customer transactions and inquiries. You will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment where your skills in Bank Operation and Bank Deposit will be vital.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and other necessary financial transactions.

• Manage and maintain customer accounts, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.

• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing high-quality customer service at all times.

• Learn and adapt to new banking systems and procedures as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

• Support the branch during peak hours, particularly over lunch hours, ensuring efficient service delivery.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the branch.

• Adhere to all banking regulations and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.

• Support the implementation of new banking systems and procedures as required.

• Assist with other banking-related tasks as assigned by superiors. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Banking or a related industry

• Proven experience in Bank Operations and Bank Deposit processes

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to manage customer complaints

• Strong numeric and analytical skills

• Proficiency in using banking software and other computer applications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• High ethical standards and professionalism, with adherence to all banking standards and regulations

• Proactive problem-solving capabilities

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work during bank hours, including weekends and evenings when necessary

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field is preferred.
