Robert Half Contracts Administrator in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Contracts Administrator role in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to contract administration in the telecom sector. This position involves redlining contract documents, preparing responses to proposals, bids, and contract modifications, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance of contract documents with university policy and business terms

• Review requests and prepare routine responses to proposals, bids, and contract modifications

• Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, corporate policies, and department procedures

• Draft and negotiate simple contractual instruments

• Communicate contract policy and practice to internal business teams

• Review, approve and execute contracts in accordance with corporate and/or department guidelines

• Prepare and administer routine correspondence, negotiation memos, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal

• Prepare, organize, and maintain records and files documenting contract performance and compliance

• Conduct research to support contract audit and facilitate department contracting trends

• Perform contract closeout activities

• Assist mid- to high-level contract professionals when working with internal or external business teams on issues and developments related to assigned contracts

• Assist staff with the use of business applications that are used to manage contracts. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator or in a related role.

• Proficiency in Cl Programming, Costpoint, CRM, DCAA, Deltek, and About Time.

• Demonstrated knowledge of billing functions, compliance, and construction.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Experience with redlining, legal contracts, negotiating contracts, and vendor contracts.

• Prior experience as a Corporate ParaLegal.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in work.

• Ability to interpret and analyze contract terms and conditions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
