Eliot Community Human Services PACT Lead Clinician in Saugus, Massachusetts

Eliot is currently seeking a strong, experienced Lead Clinician for the Lynn branch of our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) Team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience as well as proven experience in community-based work with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Demonstrated knowledge of consumer empowerment, consumer recovery and dual diagnosis is a must.

PACT is an evidenced based multidisciplinary outreach mental program that serves adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses in the community. PACT clinicians work as a team to collaborate with consumers to develop treatment interventions that assist them in their recovery process.

Qualifications: Must be a licensed clinician in Massachusetts with at least a master’s degree in mental health counseling, criminal justice, social work, nursing, psychiatric rehabilitation, or psychology. Must have strong clinical skills with at least 2 years of experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses. Must have at least 1 year of experience providing supervision in a mental health setting and at least 1 year of experience working with people who are justice involved. Must demonstrate advocacy, communication skills and planning/facilitating groups. Computer literacy and skill in the use of computers and related software applications. Ability to consistently meet all necessary background and credentialing requirements. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work and for the transportation of clients as needed. Must have reliable telephone notification system for emergency contact.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to team members

  • Provide case management services as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Assist in the development of clinical interventions, risk assessment and management, develop IAP's

  • Document daily progress notes for all contacts with each client

  • Participate in treatment planning meetings on a weekly basis through written documentation and clinical discussions.

  • Provide side by side interventions to clients that focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism and encouragement.

  • Provide emergency twenty-four hour on-call assistance to clients as assigned by the Team Leader.

  • Provide individualized therapy to reduce client’s symptoms and carry out each intervention indicated on each client’s treatment plan whether as a primary case manager or as a mini-team member.

  • Assist in the daily oversight of day-to-day operations of the PACT Team

  • Provide clinical leadership in the absences of the Team Leader or Psychiatrist.

  • Provide support to all staff members in assessing clinical crisis, the changing needs of clients and intervening to assist clients on a daily basis.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

Salary: based on experience and licensure
