Pearle Vision Licensed Optician in Saugus, Massachusetts

We are currently seeking a Licensed Optician to join our team. Full-Time or Part-Time applicants may be considered. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong knowledge of eyewear, and be licensed to practice opticianry in the state of MA. Responsibilities: * Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their vision needs according to their prescription specifications and style preferences. * Educate customers on the proper use and care of their eyewear. * Verify and interpret eyewear prescriptions provided by optometrists or ophthalmologists. * Take accurate measurements for the fitting of eyewear, including pupillary distance and segment height. * Adjust and repair eyewear to ensure proper fit and function, including advanced adjustments to correct for minor visual complaints. * Maintain complete and accurate records of customer prescriptions and eyewear orders. * Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and technologies. * Be able to offer creative win-win solutions to patients Requirements: * Must hold a current license to practice opticianry in the state of MA. * High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal opticianry program preferred. * Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with customers. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. * Familiarity with eyewear brands, lens types, and coatings. * Ability to use optical equipment, including lensometers and frame warmers.
