Job Title: Welder

Job Description

MUST HAVES:

• Construction labor experience (skilled or general labor, iron working, welding, or sheet metal)

• Experience working on commercial construction sites

NICE TO HAVES:

• Welding experience

This is an opportunity for candidates who want to learn the iron working trade. The client will hire a skilled or unskilled construction laborer through us, and for the six months they are on contract with us, they will work as a general laborer on current projects and receive training as an iron worker. Once the six-month contract is complete, they will be converted to a full-time iron worker.

Responsibilities:

• Assist on site with set-up, clean-up, and break-down.

• Assist foreman with various labor tasks on site.

• Carry equipment to different parts of the site for skilled workers to set up.

• Shadow skilled laborers to learn the trade and company operations.

• Pay rate $18 - $23 an hour

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in ROWLEY, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

They will report directly to the construction site every day. Work hours are 7am-3:30pm, with potential for longer days depending on the job. Locations are mostly northern MA and southern NH. They will work outside in the elements daily and need to be comfortable working in cold weather and dress appropriately.
