Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $25 - $28 / hour

Responsibilities:
Hours: Monday - Friday 40+ hours
Perform regular site visits of active projects to ensure compliance with the Safety Plan
Assist in the development of project safety documents
Develop and review the Accident Prevention Plan (APP),Write Job Hazards Analysis (JHA)s, as directed and/or needed.
Provide onsite safety training and education
Work as a team member with production manager, project management, quality control, and other personnel to ensure cooperation and adherence with safety inspections, corrections and compliance
Assist with investigation and recording accidents
Maintain record keeping documents as required by OSHA and prepare and research safety needs and expectations
Collaborate with management to further safety improvement initiatives.
Stay up to date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.
Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization
Qualifications:
Current/Active Drivers License
OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 Certification
Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
Experience in the construction industry and/or coordination of safety programs with positive results.
Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office
Demonstrated experience in applied problem-solving tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness and desire to learn and grow.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Prior experience in the industrial field required
