Role Overview:
Global InfoTek, Inc. is seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to guide our service offerings for the Kessel Run. The SME will provide critical insights into current methodologies, best practices, and technical requirements related to cloud computing and DevSecOps within the Kessel Run environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Current Methodologies: Provide expertise on existing cloud computing and DevSecOps practices used by Kessel Run, including their use of Kubernetes distributions (e.g., OpenShift, Rancher RKE, Amazon EKS).
Technical Knowledge: Offer deep understanding of current tools and technologies employed by Kessel Run, such as what is used for CI/CD pipelines, for deployment, and security tools.
Operational Insights: Detail the application of DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design and playbooks in Kessel Run's environment. Knowledge of key stakeholder pain points.
Strategic Input: Assist in aligning our proposed solutions with Kessel Run's current infrastructure and future vision, ensuring compatibility and adherence to their best practices and change control processes.
Documentation & Best Practices: Share insights into documentation practices and knowledge transfer strategies, emphasizing lessons learned from previous projects and relevant industry practices.
Qualifications:
Extensive Experience: Proven Kessel Run background in cloud architecture, Kubernetes-based platforms, and DevSecOps practices.
Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of current tools, techniques and processes used.
Strategic Insight: Experience with hybrid cloud configurations and security policy enforcement, particularly in DoD or similar high-security environments.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to work closely with our proposal and solutions team to ensure technical accuracy and relevance to Kessel Run's needs.
This SME will play a crucial role in shaping our bid to effectively meet Kessel Run's requirements and enhance our competitive edge in the proposal process.
