Job Title: Strategic Account Executive for SS&C Health - REMOTE

Locations: Remote opportunity with some travel, as needed.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Manage large portfolios which include clients designated as strategic clients with complex business needs and strategic partner relationships with SS&C Health. These clients are typically larger in size and represent opportunities for extensive revenue growth for SS&C.

  • Accountable for strategic client relationship management, client account planning, managing client expectations, developing client solutions, and ensuring that the work performed meets or exceeds contract and service level obligations.

  • Identify, develop and typically close new sales opportunities or create demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers.Negotiate contracts and schedules on behalf of SS&C Health and they are responsible for growing the revenue attained across their client portfolio.

  • Meet with executives and upper management at client organizations to understand the client's business strategies.

  • Collaborate with their clients to identify areas where they can personally assist in improving a client's business or introduce an SS&C Health solution that is consistent with and improves the client's ability to achieve their strategic objectives.

  • Participate and frequently own the development of corporate initiatives intended to improve internal processes, streamline costs, train and mentor staff, and improve overall client service.

  • Ideally, you will achieve revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account and you may conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs in order to link them to the organization's product/service strategies.

What You Will Bring:

  • Relationship management and health plan operations experience in the health plan field in broad based account management and business development with operational focus

  • Proven track record in client relationship management, service delivery and/or the sales of technology products and services

  • Extensive, proven experience managing all facets of Medicaid and Medicare programs

  • Superior knowledge of multiple operations functions and principles in the health plan field, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management

  • Experience in program management of health plan implementations

  • Agile leadership skills and deep strategic planning experience

  • Vendor management experience

  • Superior negotiation skills in both internal and external settings

  • Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, demonstrated by previous professional success

  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics

  • Strong contract management and negotiation skills with high close rate

  • Ability to manage multiple high priority items at one time

Salary range for the Position is expected between $140,000 and $200,000. This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary sales incentive plan.
