Job Description Summary
The M&E works contains all the connection works and acceptance tests between the main component of the wind turbine from the foundation or transition piece to the blades happening during or just after the installation phase and before the commissioning phase of the wind turbine.

Essential Responsibilities
Responsible to develop and maintain up to date the standard documentation package related to M&E completion of the GE Wind offshore turbines.
Follow design evolution to ensure M&E scope optimization during execution phase.
Responsible of costings of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) scopes on tender.
Support the PMO ITO Coordinator with M&E concepts and costing.
Support the PMO ITO Coordinator to review Customer documentation tender package.
Support the project M&E Package Manager with SVMX KPI reports.
Support project Installation team with expertise on component layouts for all connections between foundation, tower, nacelle and blades other than the main bolted connections.
Support project Quality team with incoming and RFLO inspections.
Support project M&E Supervisors with technical support.
Create and follow punch list defect points and non-conformity records related to M&E completion activities.
Ability to travel to product manufacturing facilities to address serial issues.
Maintain close relationships with turbine engineering. Participate to design development and review with regards to cable deployment and connection and mechanical finishing activities. Optimize WTG design by considering offshore operations in line with product business target.
Define M&E sequences and processes based on execution scenario.
Create the method statements: define resources, equipment, and tools.
Maintain up to date method statements in the document management system and ensures approval from Turbine Engineering
Participates in customer meetings to develop M&E scope of work.
Comply with EHS policy.
Support tower project team with definition of electrical interfaces between Wind turbine and foundation or transition piece Project M&E MS Quality Engineer
Support the installation team for the definition of turbine electrical requirements during offshore transit and installation period.
Support tender engineer to prepare costings associated to planning’s for equipment’s and manpower.
Supports M&E Supervisors and PLI Completion Teams with training in M&E document sourcing through Corella, SVMX, and Quality Suite.
Participate with the Installation/M&E team on project to the mobilization and demobilization of the tools.
Captures lesson’s learned from the construction teams on project and update documentation or trigger engineering change
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, or Quality Management (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 3 Years experience in the Wind Energy industry with proven track record of excellence)
Schedule Commitment
Day Shift. Normal operating hours in the GE Marshalling Harbor are from 7:00am – 4:00pm.
50hrs/wk guaranteed for traveling hires of this role.
Overtime eligible
6 wk-on, 1 wk-off (normal onshore rotation schedule) or Mon-Sat with Sunday off throughout the project
Must be travel compliant to the US and eligible to travel to France, Portugal, Spain, Denmark, and UK
The pay for this position is $47.84 per hour. This posting is expected to close no earlier than January 15, 2025.
