Job Summary
Position can be remote or out of our Albuquerque, NM office.
The Manager of Product Development will report directly to the Director of Compliance and Product Development. This role designed to identify market opportunities, assist in establishing a product roadmap and manage the Century product portfolio. Additionally, the Manager of Product Development will oversee the product lifecycle ensuring sales objectives and driving a timely and efficient implementation process.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Insurance Industry Experience
Manage the life cycle of the product development process from concept to implementation
Manage direct reports (o)n Product Analyst team.
Manage F&I product offerings to meet market trends and dealership needs.
Mange all form creation including initial drafts of agreements, state specific agreements, lender specific agreements and DOWC agreements for all product lines including Vehicle Service Contracts, Vehicle Protection Products, Ancillary Products and Limited Warranties.
Establish, implement and manage a routine product review analysis process to ensure competitiveness within the industry.
Collaborate with Sales teams to obtain information to perform competitive analysis for new products and/or product enhancement.
Manage and establish priorities for incoming product request for new or enhanced products.
Collaborate with cross functional departments including Marketing, Compliance, Underwriting and Sales to ensure product alignment and system compatibility.
Establish standard language for new and updated F&I products including Vehicle Service Contracts, Vehicle Protection Products, Limited Warranties, and Ancillary Products for consistency throughout our product offerings.
Maintain a library of all forms in use including historical versions.
Obtain and store competitor programs and provide analysis of coverage offerings.
Update language pursuant to Compliance request based on state and lender filings.
Communicate with sales for external product approvals.
Communicate status of product development progress for internal and external customers
Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree with equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years product development experience specifically with F&I products
In depth understanding of F&I products including Vehicle Service Contracts, Vehicle Protection Products, Ancillary Products and Limited Warranties
Ability to work with cross functional teams including senior management.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Indesign and/or similar products
Knowledge of Adobe DC
Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet essential deadlines
