The Registered Nurse will promote this mission by coordinating, monitoring, and supporting the healthcare and physical needs of people served. \$1,000 Sign On Bonus Schedule: Mon - Fri (8:30AM-4:00PM) Salary: \$32-\$36 (Rate commensurate with experience and hours available) Generous Benefits Package: -Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. -Up to 4 weeks of Paid Time Off annually, with 5 weeks after 2 years of employment and 6 weeks after 5 years of employment. -12 Paid Holidays. -Paid Birthday Day off. -\$1,000 Employee Referral Bonus with no annual cap. -Employer paid Life and Long-Term Disability Insurance. -403 (b) Retirement Plan. -Healthcare and Dependent Care Spending Plans. -Professional Development and Education Assistance. -Free BJ\'s Wholesale Club Membership. -Free on-site parking Responsibilities: -Provision of medical services, training and counseling for people we serve. -Provide pertinent nursing services, health education as delegated by and observed by the HealthCare Supervisor/RN. -Ensure that services provided are in compliance with MassHealth, DDS, ICARF, DPH, and agency policy and procedures -Monitor and report individuals\' medical progress, challenges, and status. -Participate in completing nursing assessments within required timelines. -Act as an advocate for the people served. -Provides staff training for pertinent medical concerns. -Participate in Day Hab Service Plan (DHSP) development and meetings. -Attend required training and meetings. -Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. -In the absence of the Healthcare Supervisor, the RN will be expected to support the programmatic needs associated with that role. Qualifications: -Current license as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts. -Experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities preferred. -Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a culturally diverse population of individuals, co-workers, care providers, family, community members and others. -Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced and challenging environment. -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. -Valid driver\'s license and acceptable driving record is required. -Must be able to successfully pass a CORI, SORI, Reference, DPPC and national fingerprinting background check.
