Job Title: IT Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

Location: Hybrid role - In Quincy, Massachusetts (Monday-Thursday), remote on Fridays

Duration: 6 months initially, with potential for extension

Pay Rate: $60.45 hourly on W2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant for a short-term contract position in Quincy, Massachusetts. The role involves standardizing folder permissions on common file shares globally. The successful candidate would be responsible for independently leading, managing, planning, and organizing activities along with providing functional and technical knowledge and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and plan the standardization of the folder permission structure

• Understand and communicate project objectives, including business, technology, and security risks

• Provide expertise for complex security related problem-solving and risk mitigation

• Engage with stakeholders, incorporate their feedback, and meet their requirements

• Collaborate with business partners, stakeholders, and senior management

• Oversee project communications, risks, and issue resolution

• Identify obstacles and escalate issues as needed

• Provide resolution of major issues and manage project interdependencies and handoffs

• Monitor progress and produce project status reports and regular metrics

Day-to-day tasks:

• Analyze and review reports on folder permissions

• Plan remediations for permission issues

• Liaise with admin groups to manage permissions

• Attend and articulate in business meeting as needed

• Track progress and collect data on methods

Requirements

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years project management experience

• Minimum of 3 years risk/information security experience

• Knowledge of Windows permissions in regard to file shares and Active Directory

• Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Exceptional organizational and detailed-oriented skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience leading and motivating a team

• Financial services experience is preferred

• Certifications e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, SSCP or similar is a plus

• PMP certification is a plus
